Fun fact
Tóla has a lovely connection with Saint Tola of Clonard, an early Irish bishop. Before becoming bishop of Clonard in 718, he lived as a hermit and was associated with Dysert O’Dea in County Clare. His feast day is 30 March, such a short name with centuries of Irish history behind it!
